It's pretty easy to make and far more economical. If you're doing it by hand (i.e. no electric equipment involved), it also makes for occupational therapy on days when you're not doing much else.

It is pretty easy to make if you have the ingredients to make it which I forgot to buy.

It's weird, because I want to share information and awareness, but I don't want to spread panic or dread.

I found this six-minute interview about the lengths the Chinese went to rather sobering. I just can't see this sort of effort happening here until too late.

My county just issued a shelter-in-place order. Goes into effect at midnight tonight. Will head out to stock up booze before then.

We bought 50 pounds each of flour and rice. Got a kitchenaid for the wife last year so we’ve had plenty of fresh bread. Frozen food, other staples. Hardest part will not be going stir crazy.

I don't anticipate taking my cat to the veterinarian's office before his annual check-up in July. Hopefully everything returns to something like normal by then. Their latest newsletter declares that people should text before pulling into the parking lot, where someone from their office will come out to get their animal. They don't want anybody coming inside unless absolutely necessary.

I'm still going on beer runs since I didn't want to hoard. Sanitation routine upon re-entry. Cheers.

OK that's it for school until September in Kuwait apparently. Maybe returning in August but little point I think as our courses all revolve around external exams in May and June, which have been cancelled. We will see. Apparently, authorities will let us leave to our own countries but seems to me little point looking at the UK in crisis.

This is a good podcast by Sam Harris on the reality of the situation by an expert in infectious diseases at John Hopkins. Well worth a listen

Wow. Don’t think I’ve seen any government go out that far already.

September... wow.

I just got back from a trip to the grocery store. Many shelves were just empty. Based on my research, olives and pickles will be easy to find in the apocalypse.

Two days ago groups of more than 10 people where made illegal in Denmark. This is a temporary measure and why I don't quite know for how long, it's definitely not until september.

My state can't buy coronavirus supplies from anyone because they are being outbid by the federal government each time.
