I managed to get in maybe 3 full games of Earth Reborn. It is an amazing game and one I wish I could play more often. It really requires a regular opponent and regular play, as now I feel like I would need to relearn the whole game if I wanted to teach someone else to play. I think this is the case for too many games on my shelf as I seem to have less and less free time it feels like too much of a chore to learn or teach new games and easier to just fall back on familiar and quicker, if less satisfying games.

I actually just put Earth Reborn on my sell pile. I had previously said I'd never do that, but the last time I played it, it was a pretty lackluster session, and that just made me think "why am I bothering"?

I like it, and respect the hell out of it, but it's just not worth the time anymore for me.

Traded mine a couple years ago for precisely that reason. It was never going to see enough playtime. I got Hellenes: Campaigns of the Peloponnesian War which... I've also only played twice, since my regular 1v1 opponent departed. Le sigh...
