There Will Be Games

A science fiction and fantasy tabletop RPG set in a near-future where the Americas were never colonized, created by a team of Natives.

Coyote and Crow is a tabletop role playing game set in an alternate future of the Americas where colonization never occurred. Instead, advanced civilizations arose over hundreds of years after a massive climate disaster changed the history of the planet. You'll play as adventurers starting out in the city of Cahokia, a bustling, diverse metropolis along the Mississippi River. It's a world of science and spirituality where the future of technology and legends of the past will collide.

The game is created and led by a team of Native Americans representing more than a dozen tribes and we've built a game that both Natives and non-Natives will thrill to explore and build upon.

That art kicks ass. Worth buying just for the eye candy.

This looks awesome- there’s a bit in the longer description that says they have rules and guidance for including the player’s tribal traditions. They have pledge levels that will put the books in reservation libraries. This is worth supporting for sure.

I saw this linked from somewhere else closer to the start of the campaign. Super interesting, and I don't even pretend to play RPGs anymore.

Hopefully we see more from someone about it here, I'd like to hear how it turns out.

Blade of the Iron Throne, the only RPG I have a design credit for. :-P

But this looks very cool. It’s been getting a lot of very positive buzz.
