The game hasn't been release yet, but I'm already writing...

The Chancellor's new reign had begun, as the Exiles had fled to the far reaches of the land. They had failed in their attempts to usurp the ruler, but here was another chance for them. They would muster their warbands, campaign against the Bandits, explore the world until eventually, they were strong enough to try again and finally succeed in overthrowing the leading power. Yet, they could never be sure if their fellow Exiles would deceive them and maybe even swear allegiance to the Chancellor, instead of staying strong and following the Exiles' code of honour, sticking by the sacred Oath by Leder Games.

Glad you liked it... did you manage to get enough games to get the players familiar with the character of the deck? That's my favorite thing the Chronicle does.

It's off at the printer and pictures of the the mass production proof just got posted last week, so the rules and playbook on the Leder website are the final ones. I think the playbook is an admirable attempt at getting new players into things pretty fast. It not only handles the "how" but also the "why" behind major game actions. You definitely want to encourage players to resist the temptation to go through a soup-to-nuts teach and be willing to dive in and learn as you go--pushing buttons and pulling levers, if you will.

^for sure. You have a 3-4 turns to experiment, don't want to get all AP as a new player with all the options.

Your more experienced, determined, opponent will probably kick your ass, but they're still poking around too, they just know what to take.
