Totally with you there. I thought that when I was going through it: "Would it have killed them to drop one piece of art in the rulebook and put in a sidebar with a game component list?" Thankfully, industrious people on BGG have done that: www.boardgamegeek.com/filepage/175264/ul...ine-ork-token-guides

At the instigation of someone else on BGG, I'm trading all my Memoir '44 stuff--base, winter/desert board, Med, Pacific, Eastern Front, Terrain Pack, and Air Pack--for The Gallerist and Star Wars: Outer Rim. I looked and I have 36 recorded plays of M'44. It was a good lunchtime game at work back in the hoary past when I had an hour instead of a half-hour for lunch and we were, y'know, actually at work. But when I saw the offer, I knew it was time to let someone else enjoy it (and I have both all the Ancients and previously published Napoleonics stuff).

I recently traded Ancient Terrible Things for Tiny Epic Zombies and Tiny Epic Quest. ATT is a dice game which, similarly to Dungeon Roll, never felt satisfying in how it handled dice and dice roll manipulation, so I was glad to trade it for a couple games that I've been curious about for a while.

I just traded Zimby Mojo for ten decks of Ashes: Rise of the Phoenixborn. If we like it I'll buy the upgrade kit. I'm selling a bunch of games to buy Cosmic Frog from Michael Barnes, so I don't feel as guilty about trading ZM. Also, it came with all kinds of custom dice.

On a chain of generosity (i.e, take a game, then offer up things until someone else takes them) I picked up a set of 7th continent replacement cards and someone took my Puerto Rico.

In Jan/Feb I did a few trades in the BGG Math Trade plus a few 1 to 1 trades:
The Grizzled: Armistice Edition out, for Detective: A Modern Crime Board Game
Legendary: Buffy The Vampire Slayer out, for Rallyman: GT
The Lord of the Rings bundle out, for The Expanse Board Game
Merchants & Marauders out, for Zombicide: Black Plague
D-Day Dice KS bundle out, for Arctic Scavengers bundle + Warfighter: SpecOps + Disney Villainous
Gloom of Kilforth & Exp + Power Grid out, for The World of SMOG: Rise of Moloch KS

Some old favourites disappeared but they weren't getting played by my current groups very much ... and I'm not getting any younger so get some new experiences in

Unloading Heroscape is one the best feelings in gaming.

I actually just sent 55lbs worth of games to Noble Knight. Their rates aren’t that bad; I moved one things I’ve been trying to sell for years so I was happy to take better-than-yard-sale prices on them. Bought more D&D dollhouse stuff with it.

I too just sent 4 boxes/24 games/65 lbs to Noble Knight. Got enough credit to last a long time. It’s pretty damn easy.

How did the Noble Knight credit process work? I've been debating it to move some stuff that will not go otherwise and I prefer to bulk trade.

Ha! It just got to the point where this stuff was NOT seeing the table. And... I'll be inundated with KS boxes in a couple of months. I have to make room for new shelf toads.

www.nobleknight.com/Buy-Sell-Trade

Sent them list of games, they sent quote - in my case $850 credit or $700 cash. They sent prepaid FedEx labels once I gave them # boxes and rough weight. Dropped off at FedEx store. Imhad already created an account w/them, so now it shows the credit to be applied towards purchases.

Yeah I wish I had tried Noble Knight before rather than selling stuff almost at a loss on eBay.. it is super easy, and their cash offers aren’t disasterously lower than trade. They pay for shipping, which rules.

It makes a sense. The only people who can get decent shipping rates are high volume companies.
