Some other deals:

Doomtown: Reloaded - $20
Sons of Anarchy - $20
Super Fantasy - $20
Dark Darker Darkest - $15

Any Nemo's War fans who want opaque sleeves for the inconsistent card backs (some of mine were straight up marked). These sleeves work nicely & look great:

Every year, Mantic Games has a March clearance. They're going really deep this time. This sale is particularly good if you're interested in;
DreadBall (My favorite. Anybody?!)
Star Saga
HellBoy
The Walking Dead

I fear I'm going to hate myself for asking, but is the Dreadball set a good deal? I have hemmed and hawed about various sports games like this before, so I've looked at Dreadball off and on.

I know Drewcula has written a bunch of stuff on the site on the game but I'm struggling to search it down, let's see if I can find some...

therewillbe.games/forum/10-ameritrash/19...100th-post-dreadball

I did also find some stuff from Mr. White, as well, a user who doesn't come through anymore:

Jpat,
I'm obviously biased.
I'm a DreadBall nut. I'm a tournament organizer, and I'm on the rules committee.

I love DreadBall. Love love love.

When I'm headed to an event in an Uber, and the driver asks,"WTF is DreadBall?" I respond, "Have you seen Space Jam? Yeah? I'm playing a board game version of Space Jam with a bunch of nerds for a couple of hours."
From a Blood Bowl background, I think it's best compared to the big dog at the park:
- DB is less punishing
- 1/2 the number of minis
- 1/2/ the time to play a match
- As BB is a parody of GW's Warhammer, DB is a parody of Mantic's Warpath

When I mentioned DB to BB players, they immediately reply, "Yeah! 1/2 the fun too!"

DB is not without warts:
- Miniature scale is all over the place
- Miniature material is all over the place
- Miniature quality is all over the place
- 2nd edition balls are incredible hard to handle
- Giant MVPs are grossly under-represented
- 30 teams are relatively well balanced, though some are more challenging to master and may have naturally weak/strong opponents. But ranking up teams in league play can sometimes be uneven.

Very few BB players play DB. Very few GuildBall players play DB. No Kaosball players play DB. These observations are largely because.... Not many people play DreadBall.

It's tragic IMO, but there it is. I cling to the game system because I still have a monthly league. Our stable has shifted over the years, but we're finishing our season 9 with eight Coaches. It's a blast.

I was suppose to run a "League in a Night" tournament at Adepticon this evening. Tomorrow night? I was suppose to run the National Championship. Now I'm at home, painting a DreadBall miniature typing to you about the game's merits. So it goes.

Thanks. I'll return us to our original programming shortly. I've always been on the margins of sports gaming. I'm sitting here looking at a stack of Strat-O-Matic baseball seasons that, except when I was playing a PC league, have barely been touched, and my attempt to teach TechNoBowl to my wife proved more than I could've imagined that she was right when she said she knew nothing about football. At. All. If there were more of a community environment--hard to sustain, I know--I'd be more interested, but even then I've talked myself out of playing in leagues before. But that sounds like a hella fun environment, and kudos to you for supporting other people's fun as well as your own.

it would be exceedingly difficult, but (as a Mantic fan) if there were a solo automata for Dreadball, that would really set it apart.

The newest Humble Bundle is an absolutely massive trove of Dungeon Crawl Classics. You get 45 books, adventures, and zines for $15.

Is someone here interested in running a game of this via Roll20? I'm there for it.

No eBay APP ID défined in Kunena configurationProbably not a Deal (definitely not a Steal) but, who knows, it may be for die hard fans ... anyway, I saw this on FB Marketplace and I was intrigued by the condition it was on and that it had been rarely played:

www.facebook.com/groups/317635471938169/...nk/1235879406780433/

So I thought I'd have a quick look on eBay for comparison and I found an unpunched one:

Obviously not that useful for people outside of Europe, although from memory it's not that heavy for posting due to it being just tiles and chits.

### OK, how the hell do you add an eBay url or item on this site ?!!! ###
