Looks like Mantic is releasing a naval game based on Warlords Black Seas set in their Kings of War fantasy universe

And it's actually getting a LOT of traction from the minis gaming community. Apparently there is a lot of pent-up demand for a Man-O-War successor. Mantic began pre-orders today (this one comes out this November, no Kickstarter involved) and they have already warned that the response has been quite high.

Ships look pretty cool. Might be fun to paint, actually...

Agreed. And the insignias are molded into the resin, so no bad freehand attempts necessary! Plus no rigging, so that's another plus.

The way they are kind of smooshed is kind of weird but I get it from a production perspective.
